Mimi and Papaw Dickson came to visit Kaylee from 2/7 - 2/10. Kaylee enjoyed being held by Papaw and snuggled up on his chest/shoulder. She is still eating well and is somewhat sleeping most of the time. She makes noises quite a bit throughout the night but overall, we are getting some sleep in between feedings. We took our first walk this week as the weather was beautiful! Kaylee enjoyed getting to meet several neighbors along the way and hopes to be outside playing with them soon! Also, we continued to have our "sun baths" to help with the jaundice Kaylee was born with. It is pretty much gone.
Daddy went back to work this week and Mommy has been at home with Kaylee and Payson by herself. But, all things are going well so far. Kaylee does have quite a bit of gas which seems to make her tummy hurt and she squirms quite a bit. Daddy takes the night "shift" and stays up with Kaylee from 10-1 (while he works) and then I take the early morning shift as she sometimes has a hard time going back to sleep (we think due to her tummy issues). Mommy enjoys just sitting and staring at Kaylee all day long and does not get much else done! We are having professional pictures made on Saturday so we will share those asap!
