My first Halloween

I had a great time this year dressing up as a Bunny Rabbit for Halloween! We had a neighborhood "parade". The first picture of me with a Monkey is my neighborhood boyfriend, Alex.

It rained on the actual day of Halloween so I will wait until next year to go trick-or-treating but I got to dress up with my cousins, Hannah, Reece, and Braden!

Fall 2009

It is just starting to get colder in Atlanta...my first fall! My "aunt" Laurie and "uncle" Nathan bought me a really cute dress (seen in below) to ensure I am in style this fall!







We took a trip to Knoxville where I got to see my cousin, Braden, and my second cousin, Andrew. It was fun...we got to dress up in our Halloween costumes! Also, we watched the UT vs UGA football game with Nini and Poppy...the Vols played so well and won!







This past weekend, we went to pick out my first pumpkin! I really liked them as I have never seen this before! Mommy and Daddy even bought me my own...just my size!

I also love hanging out with my cousins in Atlanta. Here is a good picture with my daddy and cousin, Hannah...

My first teeth!

Today, my two front teeth started to appear on the bottom of my mouth. They have been driving me crazy for a long time now!!! I cannot wait for them all to be in so that I can eat normal food!! Below are some pictures from a weekend with friends and family!

First Haircut

Today I got my first haircut. I went to the same place that Daddy gets his hair cut and did really well. She cut almost an inch off the back and trimmed my bangs as they were all in my eyes. I feel much better and less shaggy! Mommy held me in the chair and I sat there like a big girl...I can tell that I am going to like getting my hair cut and styled as I get older!

Braden and Me

The weekend I got baptized, I got to spend some time with my cousin, Braden, and watched my first UT football game. Go VOLS!

My Baptism

Today I got baptized in Kingsport, TN at First Presbyterian Church. This was the Church that my Daddy grew up in and that Mommy and Daddy got married in so it was special to be baptized there. I did really well and laughed and smiled the entire time. It was so neat to be in front of the entire congregation and I even liked the water. Later in life, I am sure I will understand the process and re-confirm my faith.

After the baptism, we went to Mimi and Papaw's and had a celebration with Mimi and Papaw, Nini and Poppy, Maw, Mimi & Papaw Chastain, Great Aunt Janice & Uncle Larry Cloud, Great Aunt Lou, Great Aunt Ann, Great Aunt Peggy, and Jean & Bob Gibson. It was very special!

My "Woof - Woof' and me

Here are some more pictures of Payson and me during my Daddy-Daughter weekend while Mommy was Hilton Head with some girlfriends and my aunts. She is teaching me to stick out my tongue like she does. One of my favorite games is to chase Payson (in Mommy's arms) while Payson has a ball in her mouth...it makes me laugh so hard (that I actually have puked before)!

Playing with Brady and Ms Nicole

Today, I showed Ms Nicole that it is time for Mommy and Daddy to put up baby gates as I can now crawl all over the place and even pull up on the stairs! Watch out - I am sneaky as I move quickly!








Playing with Brady is fun...but I have to learn how to share as Brady is now starting to get interested in the same toys that I like. Boys...can't live with them, can't live without them!

This weekend (Aug 20-22) is my first Mommy/Daughter weekend. This morning we went to the River and ran with Leah and Mazie Ruth Thompson in our matching Baby Joggers. I was so good that we made it an hour...I loved it! We played outside some with Payson and Peyton too. It has been a good weekend so far but we miss Daddy...

Another milestone accomplishment

I am now able to go from a laying position to sitting up on my own! It surprised everyone when I did it! I am also eating so much more: carrots, peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes. Also eating fruits such as apples, bananas, and pears! And, I am even sitting in a high chair now to eat as I started getting too squirmy for the Bumbo! I can drink out of a sippy cup too!

I am still enjoying my "daycare" (although I miss Mommy and Daddy during the day!) and love Brady and Hayden and of course, Miss Nicole!

6 month Professional Photos

Today, we went to get professional photos and I did so well. Even though we were delayed almost an hour from our appointment time, I was still an angel and smiled like crazy! Here are a few of my favorites!!

My first real food!

Today, I had my first real taste of food (aside from the rice cereal that I have been eating for 4 weeks now). Mommy and Daddy gave me carrots today. I loved them! I had it all over me but it sure tasted yummy and I cannot wait until tomorrow to have more!

Kaylee loves to jump!

Today I figured out the jumperoo and had so much fun jumping up and down! I could not even touch the ground a week ago! I am growing and learning so fast! I am starting to sit up without assistance. I can sit for about 10-15 seconds without help. And, I am getting ready to crawl soon. I "hop" on my belly right now but can get to where I want to go.

Fourth of July

Daddy and I got up early today to go watch Mommy run the Peachtree 10K Roadrace but we missed her...we spent the day at the pool and then went over to the McCabe's house and had dinner and went to see the fireworks with them and the Contes. However, I fell asleep before the fireworks so we went home a little early. It was fun and I was very good!
