Week 1

Kaylee has been an angel during her first week at home. She basically sleeps, eats, and poops. She is breastfeeding every 3 hours and for the most part, she is sleeping through the night (aside from eating). However, Mommy and Daddy are still tired! Nini has been staying with us the first week and has been a huge help. She has cooked, cleaned, and taken care of Kaylee. We had our first doctor's visit on 2/5 and she had a "clean bill of health" and weighed 6lbs, 10oz. She had already gotten back to her birth weight (almost!) which typically takes ~2 weeks. So, she is a good eater!

Poppy came down to visit on 2/6 and the Thompsons have been over several times to watch Kaylee grow and help Mommy and Daddy take care of Kaylee.

Payson has also noticed a change in our lives. She has been the protective dog as she lays beside her pack-n-play to ensure she is safe. She does get a little jealous when Daddy holds Kaylee instead of playing ball with her.

We have also had several visitors (aside from immediate family), some of which have come over more than once. These include, Leah and Dwight Thomas, Laurie and Nathan Knowles, Mimi Sturgill, Natalie Conte, Krysten McCabe, David Evans, Larry and Merry Evans, Helen, Richard and Bruce Rowland, Katie Davis, and Maureen Annunziata.
