Today I got baptized in Kingsport, TN at First Presbyterian Church. This was the Church that my Daddy grew up in and that Mommy and Daddy got married in so it was special to be baptized there. I did really well and laughed and smiled the entire time. It was so neat to be in front of the entire congregation and I even liked the water. Later in life, I am sure I will understand the process and re-confirm my faith.
After the baptism, we went to Mimi and Papaw's and had a celebration with Mimi and Papaw, Nini and Poppy, Maw, Mimi & Papaw Chastain, Great Aunt Janice & Uncle Larry Cloud, Great Aunt Lou, Great Aunt Ann, Great Aunt Peggy, and Jean & Bob Gibson. It was very special!
